  • Story Behind The Name

So Humble Yet So Dangerous was brought about as an extension of my personality. At first it was just my regular ig name (shys.d) a spin-off from the word shiesty and if you from NYC you already know the meaning but for those that aren’t it means someone who is untrustworthy. Though that may seem like a negative connotation the spin-off (shysd)  is meant to provide a strong and grounded affirmation that leaves the user feeling powerful in a sense of self.

  • Who Am I?

Darryn Floyd Jr is a young Bajan-American artist specializing in digital art. As a kid I always loved cartoons and anime and as an adult I still do, some of my favorites would be One Piece, Adventure Time, Amazing World Of Gumball, Camp Lazlo and Young Justice. Those shows were jam packed with either colorful imagery that would prompt my imagination to make images in my mind that were probably not there on the tv.

  • How Did I Come Up With These Designs?

The illustrations that I make all stem from my vivid imagination and a lot of trial and error. For starters I would like for it to be recognized that the characters I create are called “Gas Heads” and those “Gas Heads” all have different and unique personalities that are expressed through color schemes. The idea of the gas heads comes from the Green Goblin scene in Spider-Man 1 when he first dropped a pumpkin bomb. Initially they were going to resemble closely to Benson from Regular Show but as time passed I began to freestyle the drawings into what they are now.
